Commission

 First payed commission, acrylic on canvas 35cm x 35cm - 2018

This piece was my first ever paid commission which I painted in acrylic on canvas. The person I was commissioning for knew this was my first commission, so they were quite flexible about the style I would do this painting in, which was part of a present for her grandmother's birthday. I decided to go with a semi-realistic style, which was what I knew best at the time and I used acrylic as a preferred medium because it was the only one I was comfortable in, at the time too. I wanted to have confidence that the piece would turn out to my customers liking so I mostly stayed within my comfort zone. She chose a 35 x 35 cm sizing which I was already experienced in and both me and her were satisfied with the end result. 2018

Another paid commission - Acrylic on canvas 200cm x 100cm - 2021

This commission was for a family member. They wanted a big painting to go in their kitchen/dining room and had asked me to create a still life painting that would give a little warmth and pop of colour to their environment as their kitchen is a monochrome white and grey theme.

This was the biggest piece of painting I had ever been asked to create and it was a very immersive experience for me. I felt very privileged to have such freedom to create something that would be hung in someones house. This piece took me around a month to complete and I had the best time doing so.
