 A short film 'Narratives in motion' - 2022

Here is a short film I put together for the project 'Narratives in motion' project. This project was heavy on motion graphics research and creating our own small short film that would have its own narrative, preferably with little to no text. 

I focused on the aesthetics and creating a gloomy mood for this project. I loved using stop motion as my main filming process and creating my own sounds for it was also an aspect that I found surprisingly enjoyable.

Stop motion workshop - 2023

In my third year of university as a collective we gathered into small groups and were asked to pick words at random from a hat and create something under a time crunch, that would explicitly show that word. 

My team and I split each role between us for our word 'Shattered'. We decided to create a quick stop motion of a woman shattering a frame of her and her ex-lover, crying. I was part of the film making process behind the scenes, the one who took each shot and put together the final outcome. There was also a model, lighting and costume roles that all contributed to this.
