Final A-level Photography pieces
'Around town' final photography project piece, 2020
My project of 'Around town', which is also my favourite and best achieved project and final piece amongst all of my photography projects I ever did, is the one which was definitely a milestone for me within the kind of photography that I've come to love and which inspires me the most. Street photography and documenting everyday life in photos.
I ended up presenting all my final photos in a physically handmade A4 book, using crafting tools and binder sewing skills, which I already had, since I've made several journals in the past for personal use.
The colour scheme I went with matched the photographs which are all in black and white. I added some grey elements within the book to balance out the white background pages and make sure the compositions were fairly simplistic as I wanted to keep the focus on the photographs. These are some of my favourite layered compositions within the book. I included a map as a starting point for the viewer, as the whole project follows a journey around the town I lived in. Throughout the whole book there is a visible line which I marked with a black ink pen, as a continuous movement through the photos of the town for the viewers to seek.
All photos were pre-selected and their order was all well thought out including all their right positions.

'Personal space' final photography project photos, 2020
Portraits of one of my close friend which I took in close proximity in the photography studio, using a black backdrop to make her light skin complexion and white digital pen strokes, stand out once I edited all the best chosen photos in black and white. This project was to explore the invasion of personal space which I chose to show through portraits invading someone's personal space on a literal sense. All the photos were inspired by the photographer Emma Regolini.
